OTHER COOL SHIT.

Scooters: TBH, this may very well have been my favorite part of Austin. I really think that every major city needs to have these ALL OVER THE PLACE.  You scan the code on the scooter via your phone and then pay by the minute (it's very inexpensive) but you get to ride around the city at your leisure. Not to mention, it's fun as hell.

Shop Luella: I met this online shop's owner at a little market in Austin and fell in love with their mission. Austin girls are bad ass, and this shop really shows that off.

Facebook Events: When in doubt, you can always check out Facebook to see what local events are happening in the city. We found quite a few trivia nights and such via Facebook which definitely helps us venture like a local.
